Tea Ceremonies & Ritual

Participate in serene tea ceremonies, an essential aspect of our retreat. These ceremonies are much more than just sipping tea; they provide a mindful and contemplative experience fostering tranquility, unity, and respect. We wholeheartedly believe that attending a tea ceremony can cultivate inner peace, enhance appreciation for the simple things in life, and foster a deeper sense of community.

Journaling

Never journaled before? No worries. Journaling is a practice of self-discovery and introspection that we will guide you through. This practice helps you connect with your inner thoughts, evaluate your feelings, chart your spiritual growth, and bring clarity to your life. It’s a beautiful journey towards self-discovery and reconnecting to yourself.

 FAQs

  • Nope! Yoga classes will be led by Meg & Allie, both trauma-informed yoga teachers who teach a beginner-friendly style class. We welcome anyone who hasn’t ever done yoga or is brand new, no experience required. Nothing about this trip is about hitting any “goals,” it is solely about unplugging and stepping away from your busy life. Yoga will be used as a tool to reconnect to yourself.

  • Yes, we will be shuttling everyone who flys into the ASHEVILLE AIRPORT on April 25 to the cabin and then back to the airport in the morning on April 28. When you sign up, please send us your flight info so that we can coordinate!

  • YES! Solo travelers are welcome and encouraged. Unplugging sometimes means going on a solo-trip and you will absolutely have the space and time to make friends if you want to. If you are coming with a friend, just specify on your inquiry form so we can put you together in a room if you want.

  • Sign up is not open...yet! When it is, the sign-up process is very simple. Fill out the Google Form thoroughly ( you will be asked about dietary restrictions, room preference, etc) and then a deposit is required to hold your spot! We will contact you via email to answer any questions and get you situated.

  • All guided hikes will be beginner-level but, of course, your experience level will be a factor. Allie will be guiding each hike and you will be able to go at your own pace with the group. We will be packing lunches, bringing snacks, and have lots of rest along the way!
